Three traditional one
bedroom bungalow style cottages with private ensuite bathrooms located
just a short walk to central Ubud attractions. The cottages are
set in a family compound with tropical gardens surrounding the rooms and
a traditional family temple at the east corner. These cottages
were the home base for Mrs Artini and Mr Sugita and their family.
Mr Sugita, part of the Padang Tegal village leadership, created
additional rooms with the concept of a "real Balinese home to allow the
guests to feel intimate with community, culture and ritual atmosphere
life of Bali." The three private bungalows are designed in
traditional style with enchanting wood and natural stone carving.
You can enjoy a refreshing swim (free) just across the road at the
Artini II Cottages or lunch or dinner with healthy options and
innovative cuisine at the atmospheric Warung Artini. Come and meet
