site. An accommodation outlet may impose other conditions that vary
from conditions listed here. It is your responsibility to conduct
your own due diligence on the accommodation outlet's terms and
conditions and additional options provided. In booking through
Select Stays you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted
these conditions.
- In developing and
maintaining this site Select Stays uses information provided by the
accommodation outlet. In publishing this information for your
use Select Stays act as information providers only. Regardless
of the efforts made by Select Stays to ensure that the
information presented at the time of publication is accurate, Select
Stays disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of
anything misleading, false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors,
misdescription and all associated disappointment, loss, expense,
damage, inconvenience, death, shock, injury or illness, however
caused.
- Although Select Stays has strict listing criteria,
we are a booking intermediary only and do not control the manner in
which accommodation outlets featured within this site are ultimately
provided. Select Stays disclaims and will be exempt from liability
for anything to do with the supply of such accommodation.
This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort,
statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or
consequential loss, liability, claim, cost, expense, proceeding,
demand, penalty, disappointment, death, injury, illness, shock,
inconvenience or delay. It also applies irrespective of the cause,
including negligence of accommodation outlets, withdrawal,
cancellation or failure to provide accommodation, delay, any

Select Stays will confirm your accommodation booking directly with

other arrangements and bookings directly with your accommodation
outlet or agent.

- Amendments, or alternative
arrangements to the booking can only be made directly with the
Select Stays Booking Manager. Amendments to bookings are
subject to the approval of the relevant accommodation outlet and
will be confirmed through the Select Stays Booking Manager.
- Any approved change to your
confirmed booking may incur an administration fee of $50AUD, which will be
levied at the discretion of the Select Stays Booking Manager.

Cancellations |

|
|
|

You cannot cancel a booking that has been confirmed, other than by
contacting the Select Stays Booking Manager directly in writing.
-
A cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel or terminate your
confirmed accommodation booking earlier than expected for any
reason. The Select Stays Booking Manager has absolute discretion in
applying the cancellation fee.

For confirmed bookings cancelled more than 1 month prior to your
arrival date, your payment will be refunded less a cancellation fee
of 25%.

For confirmed bookings cancelled less than 1 month prior to your
arrival date, no refund is payable.
-
No refund is payable for early departures.
-
Select
Stays strongly recommends travel insurance as it may protect you if
you cancel your accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances.

number of children being accommodated. This will be confirmed at the

- Pricing policies may differ
dramatically between accommodation outlets, please see the
individual property listing for details.
- When a booking overlaps seasons the
total cost is calculated on a pro-rata basis using the seasonal
nightly or weekly rates.
- It is essential that you enter your
details correctly, that the number of persons being accommodated is
accurate and ensure that all correspondence is in the name of the
booking as providers may deny accommodation if this information
is found to be incorrect on arrival.

These conditions are to be

their discretion. Please check with your accommodation outlet to
determine whether their lease and bond terms and conditions differ from
the standard conditions published here.

Occupancy starts and
finishes on the dates shown on the receipt.

There is no refund for early departures.
-
Only those persons identified on this
agreement may stay in the property.
- Guests must only park vehicles
in the designated areas.
- The property must not be used for unlawful
purposes.
- No animals or pets are to be brought onto the property unless
specific arrangements have been made in writing with the Operator.
- Guests acknowledge that the furnishings, fittings and appliances
are the property of the Owner/Operator, and Guests have no claim
over any of these chattels.
- It is the responsibility of the Guest to ensure the property
meets their requirements. Select Stays nor the Owner/Operator
accept any responsibility for any misperception of the property.
- Guests must comply with the by-laws, rules and regulations of
the Body Corporate property (if applicable) and any reasonable
direction of the Operator. The lease will be terminated if any
Guest fails to comply after receiving a warning.
- All Guests must conduct themselves in a proper manner so as not
to cause a nuisance, including excessive noise, or interfere with
the use or enjoyment of the property for other occupiers (if a Body
Corporate property) or neighbouring properties. Unruly, loud
or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. If complaints
are received this may result in termination of the lease and loss of
surety.
- Parties and functions are strictly prohibited.
- If the occupancy ends or this lease is terminated, Guests must
immediately vacate the property. The Operator is authorised to
do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and
removal of Guest property.
- Neither the Body Corporate, nor the Owner/Operator is liable for
any damage or loss of property that a Guest may sustain while on the
property.
- Guests will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any
Guest. The Guest authorises the Operator to charge any credit
card for any such charges incurred.
- Guests will be liable for any damage, breakage and loss to the
property and its contents or the Body Corporate property (if
applicable). Guests must notify damaged, broken or missing
property or contents to the Operator as soon as possible. The
Guest authorises the Operator to charge any credit card for any
repair or replacement costs at the discretion of the Operator.
- It is the responsibility of Guests to maintain the cleanliness
of the property during the lease period. Cleaning products are
provided for this purpose.
- Smoking inside the property is prohibited. Guests must
discard cigarette butts into the rubbish bin. Cigarette butts
discarded into garden beds may incur an additional charge for
cleaning.
- Children must not jump on beds. Damage resulting from
children jumping on beds may incur loss of the surety.
- On departure Guests must leave the property clean and tidy.
This includes emptying the rubbish bin, washing and drying dishes,
hanging used towels in the bathroom, leaving used beds neatly folded
back, cleaning the barbecue, sweeping and vacuuming, cleaning the
fridge, oven and grill of any food spills and turning off lights and
cooling and heating appliances.
- The Operator may inspect the property with reasonable notice and
at any time without notice if the Operator is of the opinion that
there has been a breach of the conditions herein.
- The surety (where applicable) will be refunded within 14 days in
full subject to the above conditions being met.
